SPARK receives Patient Impact Award from Cures Within Reach

Cures Within Reach announced the three winners of its 2020 Patient Impact Awards, honoring SPARK at Stanford, Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and Camargo Pharmaceutical Services.
SPARK received the 2020 Janet Davison Rowley Patient Impact Research Award for the program’s work in creating positive patient impact through drug repurposing research. Cures Within Reach, a nonprofit organization supporting medical repurposing research to improve patients’ lives, honors SPARK’s interest in and support of the translational development of repurposing opportunities for both commercial and philanthropic treatments for patients with unmet medical needs.
Cures Within Reach will celebrate the honorees at patient-focused events throughout 2020. SPARK looks forward to working with Cures Within Reach to raise awareness of repurposing research for patients with unmet needs.
