SPARK now accepting applications for grants

SPARK is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for product proposals for 2022 pilot grants!
SPARK grants support the discovery and development of novel therapeutics and diagnostics that address unmet medical needs. SPARK provides up to $50,000 in funding plus project-specific mentorship to advance promising research discoveries from bench to bedside.
SPARK accepts product proposals for any clinical indication from any Stanford affiliate, including professors, clinicians, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students, with special interest in child and maternal health. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following three criteria:
- scope and/or severity of unmet medical need
- novelty of approach
- feasibility of the path to clinic
Deadline for applications is Friday, October 1, 2021 at 6pm.
