Daria Mochly-Rosen featured in Female Founders series

We are incredibly proud that SPARK Founder and Co-director Daria Mochly-Rosen was recently featured in Osage University Partners’ Inspiring Academic Female Founders, a website and compilation of interviews with women academics who have started companies based on their research at some of the world’s leading research institutions.
The initiative spotlights seven women that OUP interviewed in 2020 and their “insightful perspectives on their diverse entrepreneurial journeys.” The VC firm noted that “Osage University Partners (OUP) has found information on academic women startup founders to be rare, and worth a deeper dive into understanding why.”
OUP therefore asked several women from a variety of academic disciplines and positions to discuss their stories in creating their startup ventures, “in order to shed more light on their journeys and bring awareness to their successes and challenges along the way.”
